Testimonials from Students
"I had a fab time with you and the girls in our burlesque classes.
The main reason I signed up was to increase my self esteem. Even in the 4 sessions I think this has benefited me. I had so much fun with you and the other ladies and can't wait to see you all again soon."

"I loved it! I really liked the vintage music and the theme and the class had the perfect balance between a fast and furious (and fun) pace, with achievable and really effective dance moves- I really enjoyed it and hadn't expected to laugh so much!"

About Burlesque Classes
Burlesque dance is a great way to improve your posture, have fun, and get a good low-impact workout in. Here are some Frequently Answered Questions
What are the classes like?
It depends on the class - my style of burlesque teaching is heavily influenced by my dance background, so I have SO MANY cool moves to show you!
Will I have to take all my clothes off and bounce around nekkid?
Of course not! In this class, any striptease element we learn will be learnt by putting on extra clothes over our dance clothes - so that's shirts over t-shirts, stockings over tights/in addition to shorts, and nipple pasties over tank tops!
Not all classes include an element of strip tease - it's perfectly possible to dance to the beat of Burlesque without feeling the need to take your clothes off.
Where is Colours of Dance Studio?
Address: 182 Histon Rd, Cambridge CB4 3JPwww.coloursofdance.com
Colours of Dance Studio a lovely, super-private dance studio located on Histon Road, just north of the town centre. It's above the Paint and Paper Emporium, next to a big tyres garage, directly opposite Esso, Aldi and Iceland (if you want to get some food shopping in before class) and has a carpark round the back of the studio - see the studio website for details. It's a lovely new studio at the top of three flights of stairs - sadly it is not wheelchair or mobility-impaired accessible.
Google maps has some funny ideas about where the studio is, so make sure you are looking opposite Esso!
